USG member and North West London representative Exo, has signed a deal with the iconic independent label that is, 360 Records. 2012 is set to be the year that will confirm him as one of UK’s most fundamental talents.

2011 was a wholesome year for Exo; he opened the year with a bang releasing a mix tape entitled “The Power Of The Pound” which was sold for just £1 to enlighten his audience about money, wealth and the value of a pound. The CD was well received by fans, bloggers, and of course fellow artists sparking reviews from The Grime Report, BBC 1Xtra’s Charlie Sloth, MTV Wrap UP plus more.

His following began to grow; his video “Show & Prove” admirably received maximum rotation from Channel AKA and also made it to the Flava TV playlist.

Before even half the year passed, he circulated another fire mix tape titled “The Appointment”.

360 Records is a powerful, if not the most powerful independent machine there is. Having discovered and developed Devlin, assisted Griminal and Ghetts on countless projects, and of course the label behind massive releases such as Lethal Bizzle – Pow 2011 and the most successful independent release of 2011; Lord Of The Mics 3.

Exo is now finding himself in new territory, being recognized as an emerging artist by Radio DJ’s, TV stations and online journalists. MTV Base have mentioned they will be keeping an eye on him following his honorable mention in 2011’s Best of the best MC’s show. His hard work during 2011 is certainly paying off; he has recently been nominated for Best Male at the Official Mixtape Awards (OMA’s). Being picked up by 360 records is sure to just double his heat on the streets, industry interest and commercial success.
